tomogui command not found

tomogui: command not found

or when using sudo you get the following error message

sudo: tomogui: command not found

In Ubuntu tomogui is provided by python3-tomogui package.

python3-tomogui is:

Tomogui offers a Graphical User Interface to run tomographic reconstruction based on freeart and silx algorithms

Tomogui contains two main applications:

tomogui project : to create a new project from scratch
tomogui recons : to run reconstruction from a configuration file created by ’tomogui project'

To fix this problem, we can install more using the command below.

sudo apt-get -y install python3-tomogui

This command might take some time to finish depending on your machine internet connection.

You can also use apt command to install python3-tomogui.

sudo apt -y install python3-tomogui

Or if you have aptitude installed you can use the following command.

sudo aptitude install python3-tomogui
