test_server command not found

test_server: command not found

or when using sudo you get the following error message

sudo: test_server: command not found

In Ubuntu test_server is provided by python3-test-server package.

python3-test-server is:

HTTP server for unit tests of Python programs or libraries. This package also contains the test_server program.

This is the Python 3 version.

To fix this problem, we can install more using the command below.

sudo apt-get -y install python3-test-server

This command might take some time to finish depending on your machine internet connection.

You can also use apt command to install python3-test-server.

sudo apt -y install python3-test-server

Or if you have aptitude installed you can use the following command.

sudo aptitude install python3-test-server
