In Ubuntu portal-test-qt is provided by libportal-tests-qt5 package.

libportal-tests-qt5 is:

libportal provides GIO-style C APIs for most Flatpak portals’ D-Bus interfaces. It is primarily intended for installation in Flatpak runtimes, where applications can use it to interact with portals; it can also be used to test the portal services.

This package contains the portal-test-qt application, and will contain “as-installed” test programs if they are added.

To fix this problem, we can install more using the command below.

sudo apt-get -y install libportal-tests-qt5

This command might take some time to finish depending on your machine internet connection.

You can also use apt command to install libportal-tests-qt5.

sudo apt -y install libportal-tests-qt5
