pmix_info command not found

pmix_info: command not found

or when using sudo you get the following error message

sudo: pmix_info: command not found

In Ubuntu pmix_info is provided by libpmix-bin package.

libpmix-bin is:

PMIX is the OpenMPI implementation of the Process Management Interface (PMI) Exascale API. This package provides utilities for working with pmix.

To fix this problem, we can install more using the command below.

sudo apt-get -y install libpmix-bin

This command might take some time to finish depending on your machine internet connection.

You can also use apt command to install libpmix-bin.

sudo apt -y install libpmix-bin

Or if you have aptitude installed you can use the following command.

sudo aptitude install libpmix-bin
