pg_top command not found

How To Fix pg_top: command not found in Ubuntu / Debian / Kali Linux / Raspbian
In Ubuntu pg_top is provided by pgtop package.
pgtop is:
pg_top is ’top’ for PostgreSQL.
- Monitor PostgreSQL processes.
- View currently running SQL statement of a process.
- View query plan of a currently running SELECT statement.
- View locks held by a process.
- View I/O statistics per process.
- View replication statistics for downstream nodes.
To fix this problem, we can install more using the command below.
sudo apt-get -y install pgtop
This command might take some time to finish depending on your machine internet connection.
You can also use apt command to install pgtop.
sudo apt -y install pgtop
Or if you have aptitude installed you can use the following command.
sudo aptitude install pgtop
