pep8 command not found

sudo: pep8: command not found

In Ubuntu pep8 is provided by pep8 package.

pep8 is:

pep8 script was renamed to pycodestyle.

This is transitional package which provides symlink for pep8 script

To fix this problem, we can install more using the command below.

sudo apt-get -y install pep8

This command might take some time to finish depending on your machine internet connection.

You can also use apt command to install pep8.

sudo apt -y install pep8

Or if you have aptitude installed you can use the following command.

sudo aptitude install pep8
