oarsub command not found

When you run more command in linux terminal / console, you get the following error message

oarsub: command not found

or when using sudo you get the following error message

sudo: oarsub: command not found

In Ubuntu oarsub is provided by oar-user package.

oar-user is:

OAR is a versatile resource and task manager (also called a batch scheduler) for clusters and other computing infrastructures

This package install the submission and query part of the OAR batch scheduler.

To fix this problem, we can install more using the command below.

sudo apt-get -y install oar-user

This command might take some time to finish depending on your machine internet connection.

You can also use apt command to install oar-user.

sudo apt -y install oar-user

Or if you have aptitude installed you can use the following command.

sudo aptitude install oar-user
