mwaw2text command not found

In Ubuntu mwaw2text is provided by libmwaw-tools package.

libmwaw-tools is:

libmwaw contains some import filters for old Mac text documents (MacWrite, ClarisWorks, … ) based on top of libwpd.

This package contains mwaw2html, mwaw2raw and mwaw2text.

To fix this problem, we can install more using the command below.

sudo apt-get -y install libmwaw-tools

This command might take some time to finish depending on your machine internet connection.

You can also use apt command to install libmwaw-tools.

sudo apt -y install libmwaw-tools

Or if you have aptitude installed you can use the following command.

sudo aptitude install libmwaw-tools
