mbmon command not found

mbmon: command not found

or when using sudo you get the following error message

sudo: mbmon: command not found

In Ubuntu mbmon is provided by mbmon package.

mbmon is:

(x)mbmon allows you to monitor hardware status using your motherboard’s sensors. This information can be: temperatures, voltages and/or fan speeds.

This package contains the console client.

To fix this problem, we can install more using the command below.

sudo apt-get -y install mbmon

This command might take some time to finish depending on your machine internet connection.

You can also use apt command to install mbmon.

sudo apt -y install mbmon

Or if you have aptitude installed you can use the following command.

sudo aptitude install mbmon
