marco-picom command not found

Introduction

When you run more command in linux terminal / console, you get the following error message

marco-picom: command not found

or when using sudo you get the following error message

sudo: marco-picom: command not found

In Ubuntu marco-picom is provided by mate-tweak package.

mate-tweak is:

Configures some aspects of the MATE desktop not exposed via the MATE Control Center applets.

Settings that can be handled via MATE Tweak:

Show/hide standard desktop icons
Panel fine-tuning (icon visibility, in menus and on buttons, icon size, button labelling, contex menus, etc.)
Window manager fine-tuning

To fix this problem, we can install more using the command below.

sudo apt-get -y install mate-tweak

This command might take some time to finish depending on your machine internet connection.

You can also use apt command to install mate-tweak.

sudo apt -y install mate-tweak

Or if you have aptitude installed you can use the following command.

sudo aptitude install mate-tweak
