lxdm command not found

sudo: lxdm: command not found

In Ubuntu lxdm is provided by lxdm package.

lxdm is:

LXDM is a GUI application for the Lightweight X11 Desktop Environment (LXDE).

It’s a lightweight login manager which can be used as a replacement for GDM or KDM.

To fix this problem, we can install more using the command below.

sudo apt-get -y install lxdm

This command might take some time to finish depending on your machine internet connection.

You can also use apt command to install lxdm.

sudo apt -y install lxdm

Or if you have aptitude installed you can use the following command.

sudo aptitude install lxdm
