ghdl command not found

In Ubuntu ghdl is provided by ghdl-common package.
ghdl-common is:
GHDL is a compiler and simulator for VHDL, a Hardware Description Language. GHDL is not an interpreter: it allows you to analyse and elaborate sources to generate machine code from your design. Native program execution is the only way for high speed simulation.
This package contains common files for the GHDL compiler packages.
To fix this problem, we can install more using the command below.
sudo apt-get -y install ghdl-common
This command might take some time to finish depending on your machine internet connection.
You can also use apt command to install ghdl-common.
sudo apt -y install ghdl-common
Or if you have aptitude installed you can use the following command.
