e2lpr command not found

In Ubuntu e2lpr is provided by e2ps package.

e2ps is a tool for processing and printing Japanese EUC code, mainly EUC files.

This program provides a plain text to PostScript conversion with automatic detection of EUC, JIS and SJIS but may be weak with SJIS.

To fix this problem, we can install more using the command below.

sudo apt-get -y install e2ps

This command might take some time to finish depending on your machine internet connection.

You can also use apt command to install e2ps.

sudo apt -y install e2ps

Or if you have aptitude installed you can use the following command.

sudo aptitude install e2ps
