dxfpp command not found

dxfpp: command not found

or when using sudo you get the following error message

sudo: dxfpp: command not found

In Ubuntu dxfpp is provided by python3-ezdxf package.

python3-ezdxf is:

ezdxf is a module for manipulating DXF files. It can be used to create new DXF files, or to read/write/modify existing DXF files.

This package installs the library for Python 3.

To fix this problem, we can install more using the command below.

sudo apt-get -y install python3-ezdxf

This command might take some time to finish depending on your machine internet connection.

You can also use apt command to install python3-ezdxf.

sudo apt -y install python3-ezdxf

Or if you have aptitude installed you can use the following command.

sudo aptitude install python3-ezdxf
