In Ubuntu dconf is provided by dconf-cli package.

dconf-cli is:

DConf is a low-level key/value database designed for storing desktop environment settings.

This package contains the command line tools. Note that DConf is not connected with the older Debian package named dconf.

To fix this problem, we can install more using the command below.

sudo apt-get -y install dconf-cli

This command might take some time to finish depending on your machine internet connection.

You can also use apt command to install dconf-cli.

sudo apt -y install dconf-cli

Or if you have aptitude installed you can use the following command.

sudo aptitude install dconf-cli
