arcctl command not found

or when using sudo you get the following error message

In Ubuntu arcctl is provided by nordugrid-arc-arcctl package.

nordugrid-arc-arcctl is:

NorduGrid is a collaboration aiming at development, maintenance and support of the middleware, known as the Advanced Resource Connector (ARC).

This package contains the ARC Control Tool with basic set of control modules suitable for both server and client side.

To fix this problem, we can install more using the command below.

sudo apt-get -y install nordugrid-arc-arcctl

This command might take some time to finish depending on your machine internet connection.

You can also use apt command to install nordugrid-arc-arcctl.

sudo apt -y install nordugrid-arc-arcctl

Or if you have aptitude installed you can use the following command.

sudo aptitude install nordugrid-arc-arcctl
