How To Fix UEFIPatch: command not found in Ubuntu / Debian / Kali Linux / Raspbian

In Ubuntu UEFIPatch is provided by uefitool-cli package.

uefitool-cli is:

UEFITool is a cross-platform C++/Qt program for parsing, extracting and modifying UEFI firmware images.

It supports parsing of full BIOS images starting with the flash descriptor or any binary files containing UEFI volumes.

This package contains the CLI utilities, UEFIPatch and UEFIReplace. For the GUI version, see uefitool.

To fix this problem, we can install more using the command below.

sudo apt-get -y install uefitool-cli

This command might take some time to finish depending on your machine internet connection.

You can also use apt command to install uefitool-cli.

sudo apt -y install uefitool-cli

Or if you have aptitude installed you can use the following command.

sudo aptitude install uefitool-cli
