This package contains the following utilities:

  • skdump - a small tool that produces a similar output to smartctl -a
  • sktest - a small tool for starting/aborting S.M.A.R.T. self-tests

To fix this problem, we can install more using the command below.

sudo apt-get -y install libatasmart-bin

This command might take some time to finish depending on your machine internet connection.

You can also use apt command to install libatasmart-bin.

sudo apt -y install libatasmart-bin
