In Ubuntu python3-config is provided by python3-dev package.

python3-dev is:

Header files, a static library and development tools for building Python modules, extending the Python interpreter or embedding Python in applications.

This package is a dependency package, which depends on Debian’s default Python 3 version’s headers (currently v3.10).

To fix this problem, we can install more using the command below.

sudo apt-get -y install python3-dev

This command might take some time to finish depending on your machine internet connection.

You can also use apt command to install python3-dev.

sudo apt -y install python3-dev

Or if you have aptitude installed you can use the following command.

sudo aptitude install python3-dev
