In Ubuntu dbs_update is provided by libdbix-easy-perl package.

libdbix-easy-perl is:

DBIx::Easy is an easy to use DBI interface. Currently the Pg, mSQL, mysql, sybase and ODBC drivers are supported. Note that you also need one of the DBD::* drivers to use this module. For additional information please refer to the manpage.

To fix this problem, we can install more using the command below.

sudo apt-get -y install libdbix-easy-perl

You can also use apt command to install libdbix-easy-perl.

sudo apt -y install libdbix-easy-perl

Or if you have aptitude installed you can use the following command.

sudo aptitude install libdbix-easy-perl
